dijon creamed spinach


this is a yummy spinach side dish adapted from kraft.

  1. In large saucepan on medium-high heat
  2. Melt butter
  3. Add onion and garlic
  4. Cook and stir until onion is crisp-tender
  5. Add wine
  6. Simmer 5 minute
  7. Stir in flour until well blended
  8. Gradually add milk
  9. Stirring until well blended
  10. Cook until mixture thickens and begins to boil
  11. Stirring constantly
  12. Allow to boil for 1 minute
  13. Add mustard
  14. Pepper
  15. And salt
  16. Stir in spinach
  17. Cook until heated through
  18. Stirring occasionally
  19. Serve
