  1. Beat cream cheese and shredded cheese in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended
  2. Stir in mustard
  3. 4 slices of bacon
  4. 2 tablespoons of the onions
  5. Cayenne and black pepper
  6. And salt
  7. If using
  8. Transfer to serving bowl
  9. Cover with plastic wrap
  10. Refrigerate for several hours
  11. Overnight or until chilled
  12. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving
  13. Sprinkle with the remaining green onions
  14. Bacon and garnish with paprika
  15. If desired
  16. Serve with crackers or pita wedges
