  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Melt 2 t butter in a skillet over medium heat
  3. Stir in flour until smooth
  4. And cook for one minute
  5. Stir in the salt
  6. Sugar
  7. Onion
  8. And sour cream
  9. Add green beans
  10. And stir to coat
  11. Pour mixture into a 2 1 / 2 quart casserole dish
  12. Spread shredded cheese over the top
  13. In a small bowl
  14. Mix ritz crackers with 1 t butter
  15. Sprinkle over the cheese
  16. Bake for 30 minutes until the top is golden brown
