Steps

  1. If you do not have any brewed coffee
  2. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of freeze-dried decaffeinated coffee granules in 1 tablespoon of water
  3. In a small saucepan
  4. Combine the milk
  5. Coffee
  6. And cornstarch and stir until the cornstarch dissolves
  7. Stir in the cocoa and brown sugar and bring to a simmer over medium heat
  8. Cook for about 5 minutes
  9. Stirring
  10. Until the sauce thickens and is no longer cloudy
  11. Remove from heat
  12. Set aside to cool
  13. Use when cool or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days
