Steps

  1. Combine first six ingredients in a deep roasting pan
  2. Cook the poaching liquid for 2-3 minutes
  3. Then add halibut
  4. Cover tightly
  5. And gently simmer until cooked through
  6. Garnish with sliced avocados
  7. Thinly sliced lime wheels and fresh cilantro
