  1. Thaw fish
  2. If frozen
  3. Arrange fish steaks in an 8x8x2-inch baking dish
  4. Cover with vented clear plastic wrap
  5. Cook on 100% power for 4 to 8 minutes or till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork
  6. Keep warm while preparing sauce
  7. In a 2-cup measure stir together cornstarch
  8. Bouillon granules
  9. And salt
  10. Stir in milk all at once
  11. Cook
  12. Uncovered
  13. On high for 1 1 / 2 to 3 minutes or till thickened and bubbly
  14. Stirring after 1 minute
  15. Then every 30 seconds
  16. Stir in mushrooms and carrot
  17. Cook for 30 to 60 seconds more or till heated through
  18. Stir in lemon peel
  19. Serve over fish steaks
  20. Sprinkle with parsley
