devine green bean casserole


its creamy, its cheesey, loaded with green beans, bacon, french's fried onions and sharp cheddar!

  1. Combine all the green beans and cream of celery in a mixing bowl
  2. Carefully to not smash the beans up
  3. In a medium-large skillet
  4. Fry up bacon pieces until they are crispy and all the fat has melted off
  5. Remove bacon from grease and set aside to drain
  6. Once drained and cooled a bit crumble into 1 / 4 inch pieces
  7. In the bacon pan and with the bacon grease
  8. Blacken the green onions
  9. And sautee the yellow onion
  10. Remove them from the grease when all the green onions are completely black
  11. Set aside to drain
  12. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  13. Add aprox
  14. "15 oz frenchs fried onions
  15. The bacon pieces
  16. Yellow onion
  17. And green / black onion into the green beans and carefully stir"
  18. Transfer the mixture from the bowl into a 8x8 baking dish
  19. Evenly spread all of the cheese over the top
  20. Then top it off with the remaining french fried onions
  21. Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes
  22. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese starts to get brown bubbles
  23. Remove from oven and allow to cool 10-15 minutes before serving
