  1. Preheat oven to 350f
  2. Beat the eggs
  3. Then add the next 5 ingredients when well combined
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips until well mixed
  5. If the dough is too soft and sticky
  6. Add a bit more flour until the dough can be formed into logs
  7. Shape the dough into eight 2-1 / 2 inch wide logs
  8. Then place them on 4 ungreased cookie sheets
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or just until golden in colour
  10. Remove the logs from the oven and at an angle
  11. Cut them into 1 inch slices
  12. Place the cookies back on the cookie sheets
  13. And return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes per side to toast slightly
