  1. Preheat oven to 350f
  2. In a bowl
  3. Combine flour
  4. Cocoa powder
  5. Baking soda and salt
  6. Set aside
  7. In a large mixing bowl
  8. Cream butter and sugar
  9. Add eggs and vanilla
  10. Mix well
  11. Gradually beat in the flour mixture then add chocolate chips
  12. Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets
  13. Bake 10-12 minutes
  14. Let cookies rest on baking sheets for 2 minutes before removing with a spatula to wire racks to cool completely
