  1. Heat oven to 350f
  2. Grease and flour a 12 cup bundt pan
  3. In medium microwavable bowl
  4. Mix filling ingredients
  5. Microwave on high 25 to 35 seconds
  6. Stirring every 15 seconds
  7. Until melted and smooth
  8. Set aside
  9. In a large bowl
  10. With an electric mixer
  11. Beat cake mix
  12. Water
  13. Oil
  14. 1 / 2 tsp almond extract
  15. The eggs and pudding mix on low speed about 1 minute
  16. Scraping bowl constantly
  17. With rubber spatula
  18. Fold in cherries
  19. Spoon batter into pan
  20. Spreading evenly
  21. Carefully spoon filling in ring over batter
  22. Being careful not to let filling touch sides of pan
  23. Bake 45 to 50 minutes
  24. Or until toothpick inserted 1 inch from inside edge of pan comes out clean and top of cake feels firm to the touch and cake pulls away slightly from side of pan
  25. Cool 15 minutes
  26. Invert onto heatproof serving plate
  27. Remove pan and let cool completely
  28. About 1 hour
  29. In a 1 quart saucepan
  30. Heat all glaze ingredients except 1 tsp milk over medium low heat
  31. Stirring occasionally
  32. Until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth
  33. Stir in up to 1 tsp of milk
  34. If necessary
  35. For glazing consistency
  36. Pour glaze over cake
  37. Allowing some to drizzle down sides
  38. Garnish with white chocolate curls and additional cherries if desired
  39. Store loosely covered in the fridge
