these cookies are very soft and tasty. they're more of a christmas cookie, but can be served all year 'round.

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350f
  2. In a large bowl
  3. Stir together hot cocoa mix and water
  4. Add the flour
  5. Cocoa powder
  6. Cinnamon
  7. And salt
  8. In a separate bowl
  9. Add butter
  10. Sugar and egg
  11. Combine thoroughly
  12. And add this mixture to the dry ingredients
  13. Beat on high until thoroughly combined
  14. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet about 2-inch apart
  15. Press a cherry into each cookie
  16. Bake in oven for 12-14 minutes
  17. Cookies may seem soft when taken out
  18. But they will firm up as they cool
