this wonderful dessert can reduce the carbs even more by using diabetic sugar. very easy and turns out wonderful!

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees f
  2. Spray an 8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray
  3. In a medium saucepan
  4. Melt the margarine
  5. Add the sugar and stir until smooth and slightly cooled
  6. 2 minutes
  7. Blend in the egg
  8. Add the cocoa
  9. Vanilla
  10. Baking powder
  11. And baking soda
  12. Stir until the cocoa is fully incorporated
  13. 1 minute
  14. Add the flour and stir just until smooth
  15. 1 minute
  16. Spread the batter in the prepared baking pan and top evenly with pie filling
  17. Bake until the top becomes slightly crusty
  18. 8 to 10 minutes
  19. Then sprinkle on the chocolate chips
  20. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean with a few moist crumbs
  21. About 8-10 minutes
