  1. Soften butter at room temperature
  2. Cut in flour and pecans until crumbly and press into a 9x13 inch pan
  3. Covering the bottom
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
  5. Using milk
  6. Prepare chocolate pudding as directed on package and let it set while you prepare next layer
  7. With a mixer
  8. Combine sugar and cream cheese
  9. Fold in half of cool whip
  10. Pour into crust
  11. Top with chocolate pudding
  12. Top with remaining cool whip topping
  13. Sprinkle with pecans pieces
  14. Refrigerate several hours before serving
