  1. In a small heavy saucepan
  2. Melt chocolate over low heat
  3. Stirring constantly until chocolate begins to melt
  4. Immediately remove the chocolate from heat
  5. Stir until smooth
  6. Cool slightly
  7. Place nuts in a food processor or blender
  8. Cover and process until nuts are finely chopped
  9. Stopping and scraping the sides as necessary
  10. Add butter
  11. Process until nearly smooth
  12. Transfer mixture to a bowl
  13. Stir in melted chocolate
  14. Serve at room temperature
  15. Use spread on croissants
  16. Muffins or biscuits
