  1. In a 2-quart saucepan
  2. Combine chocolate chips
  3. Caramels
  4. Milk
  5. Butter
  6. Raspberry jam
  7. Cook over low heat
  8. Stirring often
  9. Until melted and smooth- this may take a while
  10. About 20-30 minutes
  11. When everything has melted together
  12. Pour into a either a fondue pot or a crockpot set on low heat
  13. Serve along with a platter of bite-sized pieces of sponge cake
  14. Pound cake
  15. And fresh fruit and some fondue forks or skewers to dip into the fondue
