  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees farhenheit
  2. Sprinkle nuts in bottom of pie shell
  3. In a small saucepan
  4. Melt the caramels with 2 / 3 cup condensed milk
  5. In a large bowl
  6. Mix egg
  7. Melted butter
  8. Remaining condensed milk: mix well
  9. Stir in melted morsels
  10. Pour mixture over caramel layer
  11. Bake 35 minutes or until center is set
  12. Cool
  13. Refrigerate leftovers
