adopted recipe.this is pretty easy to make. they are very sweet and very sticky, but also very good.they go best with a tall, cold, glass of milk.try to recuit help with unwrapping the caramels. they are a pain!!

Steps

  1. Cut butter into cookie mix in bowl until crumbly
  2. Press into bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan
  3. Reserving 1 cup
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips
  6. Melt caramels in evaporated milk saucepan
  7. Stirring constantly
  8. Pour over chocolate chips
  9. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture
  10. Bake for 15 minutes longer
  11. Cool completely
  12. Apprx
  13. 1 hour
  14. These are generous sized servings
  15. If you cut the squares smaller
  16. You can get more servings
