  1. Preheat the oven to moderate
  2. About 180c
  3. Lightly grease a 12 hole muffin pan
  4. Sift flour into a large bowl
  5. And stir pecans and chocolate
  6. In a jug / bowl
  7. Whisk the milk butter and egg together
  8. Make a centre in the flour mixture add the milk mixture all at once
  9. And mix lightly until combined ~ and please dont overmix !
  10. Spoon enough mixture into each of the muffin holes ~ only to half fill and
  11. Top each with a half caramel and cover evenly with the remaining muffin mixture
  12. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean and dry when inserted into centre of muffin
  13. Transfer to wire rack and cool
