i found this in the woman's day cookbook, which is for cooking with kids. this is a great and easy recipe, when you want to cook with the kids or grandkids! these muffins are best served warm, i have used other sweets rollo's are good and caramello chocolates are divine!
my family loves these sandwiches, they are especially great using garden tomatoes, i make them using pepper jack cheese but american cheese slices works good also, you can adjust the butter amount to suit taste.
this is a great easy recipe for when you have all that left over ham at christmas. the original recipe calls anchovies, but unfortunately our family does not like them, and so i use dried bacon bits. i also use garlic croutons when available.
