it's simple but so tasty that stand on its own. i eat this in celebration of fall. enjoying it's harvest in all things. even a sandwich.
this is excellent served with a pork roast or pork chops. sometimes i add a little mustard to it as well. you can prepare this the day before and reheat it.

a basic zucchini slice, but very adapable and quite flavoursome. to vary the dish, try adding diced chorizo sausage.
i love this when the fresh asparagus is in season. sometimes i throw in some onion wedges or a red capsicum for colour with the asparagus. prep time includes marinating time.
my family loves dips - hot, cold - doesn't matter. i came up with this breadstick recipe especially for that reason. we especially like to use these for dipping in hummus. i add about 1 tsp. cumin and 1/4-1/2 tsp. seseme oil when making them for hummus
