  1. Preheat the oven to 350
  2. Use pam to spray an 8x8-inch cake pan
  3. Mix the dry ingredients from the cake list
  4. Add the wet ingredients and stir well
  5. Pour in pan and bake 40-50 minutes
  6. For the sauce
  7. Put the water and sugar in a pan
  8. Bring to a boil
  9. Add the cocoa
  10. Simmer 5 minutes
  11. Then stir in the vanilla
  12. Poke holes in the cake
  13. Pour the sauce over top
