  1. Cake: heat over to 375 f degrees
  2. Cream the sugar and eggs together
  3. Add milk
  4. Butter and vanilla
  5. Sift dry ingredients& add to the dry mixture
  6. Mix thoroughly
  7. Bake in a 9" x 9" or a small bundt cake pan
  8. For 25 minutes
  9. Filling: melt butter in medium saucepan
  10. Remove from heat
  11. Add remaining ingredients
  12. Mixing well
  13. Simmer
  14. Stirring over low heat about 5 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved
  15. Serve hot over pudding or cake
