  1. Melt first 2 ingredients together over low heat
  2. In separate bowl
  3. Combine cake mix
  4. Butter
  5. And evaporated milk
  6. Do not mix the chocolate chips into mixture
  7. Put half of cake mixture in a greased & floured 9x13 pan
  8. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees
  9. Sprinkle chocolate chips over cake mixture
  10. Pour caramel mixture over chocolate chips
  11. Pour remaining cake mix on top
  12. Dropping mix by spoonfuls
  13. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes
  14. Cool 20 minutes
  15. Cut into bars
