chocolate butterscotch chip cookies


i could only find similar recipes using cake mix, so i thought i'd share a more "homemade" version of these yumm-o cookies. these are very chocolatey...just the way i like 'em. i guess you could also use chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, or anything else instead of the butterscotch, but this is how we likes 'em done.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine flour
  3. Baking soda
  4. Salt
  5. And cocoa in mixing bowl
  6. Beat butter
  7. Both sugars
  8. And vanilla until creamy
  9. Beat in eggs
  10. Gradually add flour mix
  11. Stir in butterscotch chips
  12. Drop by large tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets
  13. Bake 9-11 minutes
  14. Or until slightly set
  15. Cool on cookie sheets another 2 min
  16. Than remove to wire racks
