  1. In mixing bowl
  2. Cream butter and sugar
  3. Add egg
  4. Vanilla
  5. And bananas
  6. Beating thoroughly
  7. In a separate bowl
  8. Combine flour
  9. Soda
  10. Baking powder
  11. And salt
  12. Add to creamed mixture and mix well
  13. Divide batter in half
  14. Add the cocoa to one portion of the batter
  15. Spread that portion in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish
  16. Spoon remaining batter on top
  17. Swirling gently with butter knife if desired
  18. And sprinkle with chocolate chips
  19. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until batter tests done with a toothpick or fork
  20. Cool and cut into 24 squares
