  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f
  2. Line a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan with foil
  3. For the base:
  4. Beat the 4 ounces of cream cheese
  5. 1 egg and butter together on low speed until creamed
  6. Blend in cake mix by hand until combined
  7. It will be very thick
  8. But piable like a soft dough
  9. Press into bottom of the prepared baking pan
  10. For the topping:
  11. In a bowl
  12. Beat together the two 8-oz packages cream cheese
  13. Banana
  14. Powdered sugar
  15. And vanilla
  16. Beat at medium speed until smooth
  17. At least 3 minutes
  18. Add eggs one at a time
  19. Beating only until incorporated
  20. Spread cream cheese batter evenly over bottom chocolate layer
  21. Bake at 350 degrees f
  22. For 45 minutes
  23. Cool completely
  24. Carefully remove from pan
  25. Peel off foil
  26. And cut into 24 squares
