Steps

  1. For crust
  2. Mix softened butter and cream cheese in a bowl until smooth
  3. "blend in flour
  4. A bit at a time
  5. Confectioners sugar and 1 / 8 tsp salt"
  6. Form dough into a disk
  7. Cover in plastic wrap
  8. Refrigerate at least 3 hours
  9. Heat oven to 325 degrees
  10. Divide dough into 24 balls
  11. Press into two 12-cup mini muffin tins
  12. Pushing dough up over edges
  13. Refrigerate
  14. For filling
  15. Mix brown sugar
  16. Chocolate
  17. Egg
  18. Melted butter
  19. Vanilla and remaining 1 / 8 tsp salt in a bowl until combined
  20. Divide half the pecans among muffin cups
  21. Top with brown sugar mixture
  22. Sprinkle remaining pecans on top
  23. To assemble
  24. Bake 20 minutes or until dough is lightly golden around edges
  25. Let sit 5 minutes
  26. Run
  27. Remove when cool enough to handle
  28. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely
