Steps

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above"filling"
  2. Leave 1 / 4 of the mixture for the centre filling and make 18-20 balls out of the rest
  3. Keep aside
  4. I\ll call this"white mixture"
  5. Likewise
  6. Mix all the ingredients mentioned under"filling" and make 18-20 tiny yellow paneer balls
  7. Keep aside
  8. I\ll call this"yellow mixture"
  9. Now
  10. Flatten the"white mixture" on your palm
  11. Place the"yellow mixture" in the centre
  12. Close the top and make smooth balls
  13. Keep aside
  14. Heat oil in a wok
  15. Very gently
  16. Fry the above made balls till golden brown
  17. Drain on clean kitchen paper towels and keep aside
  18. Now
  19. Start with the gravy
  20. For this
  21. Put the bay leaves in 4 teaspoons
  22. Oil
  23. Add the onion paste
  24. Stir-fry till brown
  25. Add ginger and garlic pastes
  26. Stir-fry till the raw smell of the same leaves the mixture
  27. Add tomatoes
  28. Fry till the fat leaves the masala
  29. Add salt
  30. Turmeric powder
  31. Corriander powder and red chilli powder
  32. Add cream
  33. Add water
  34. Cook
  35. Uncovered
  36. Till half the water evaporates
  37. Just before you serve
  38. Add the koftas
  39. Simmer on low flame for 5-7 minutes
  40. Remove the koftas very gently so as to be careful that they do not break
  41. Put the koftas in a serving bowl
  42. Pour the gravy over the koftas
  43. Sprinkle garam masala on top
  44. Add a little cream on top
  45. Garnish with corriander leaves
  46. Serve with hot steamed basmati white rice for a wonderful lunch / dinner party
