  1. In a large saucepan
  2. Combine squash
  3. Broth
  4. Carrots
  5. Onion & salt
  6. Then bring to boil
  7. Reduce heat
  8. Cover & simmer 15-20 minutes or until vegetables are very tender
  9. Then remove from heat & cool
  10. In a blender or food processor
  11. Puree vegetable mixture in batches
  12. Then transfer to a bowl & stir in milk
  13. Cover & chill until ready to serve
  14. When ready to serve
  15. Garnish with a small dollop of sour cream
  16. Slightly swirled into the soup
