  1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit
  2. Wrap half the avocado in plastic wrap and set aside
  3. Peel the other half of the avocado
  4. Then cut it into chunks
  5. Place the avocado
  6. Cucumber
  7. Broth
  8. Yogurt
  9. Lime juice and salt in the bowl of a blender
  10. Process until smooth and creamy
  11. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until very cold
  12. To serve
  13. Peel and dice the remaining avocado half
  14. Stir the avocado into the soup along with the diced shrimp
  15. Ladle the soup into 4 bowls
  16. Sprinkle with green onions and float a single shrimp on top of each
