  1. Cook asparagus in a large skillet of boiling
  2. Salted water until just crisp-tender
  3. About 4 minutes
  4. Drain
  5. Rinse with cold water and drain well
  6. Pat dry with paper towels
  7. Arrange on a platter
  8. Mix sesame oil
  9. Rice vinegar
  10. Soy sauce
  11. And sugar in a small bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper
  12. To serve
  13. Spoon dressing over asparagus
  14. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seed and serve
