  1. Bring chicken stock
  2. Beets
  3. Onion
  4. Carrots
  5. Garlic and sugar to a boil
  6. Then lower heat and simmer until beets are tender - approximately 40 minutes
  7. Puree and cool
  8. Strain
  9. Whisp in buttermilk
  10. Stir in dill and salt & pepper to taste
  11. Chill at least 4 hours
  12. Serve
