  1. Brown bacon in a large cast iron skillet or dutch oven
  2. Drain and crumble bacon
  3. Set aside
  4. Brown sausage
  5. Drain set aside with bacon
  6. Brown ground beef
  7. Strain set aside
  8. Pour excess fat from skillet
  9. Cook onion
  10. Pepper
  11. Garlic and chili pepper over low heat for 2-3 minutes
  12. Stir in wine and worcestershire sauce
  13. Simmer for uncovered for 10 minutes
  14. Add the dry mustard
  15. Celery seed
  16. Chili power
  17. Salt
  18. And pepper: simmer for 10 more minutes
  19. Mash tomatoes: add with liquid to onion mixture along with the meats
  20. Heat to boiling
  21. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 1 / 2 hour stirring occasionally
  22. Stir beans with liquid into chili
  23. Heat to boil
  24. Reduce heat
  25. Cover and simmer for 1 hour
  26. Stirring occasionally
