  1. Preheat broiler
  2. Bring 2 quarts water to a boil in 3-quart saucepan
  3. Meanwhile
  4. Cook ground beef in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink
  5. Meanwhile
  6. Cut peppers in half lengthwise
  7. Remove stems and seeds
  8. Add 4 pepper halves to boiling water
  9. Cook 3 minutes or until bright green and slightly softened
  10. Remove and drain upside down on plate
  11. Repeat with remaining 4 halves
  12. Set aside
  13. Add beans
  14. Tomatoes and mexican seasoning to ground beef
  15. Cook and stir over medium heat 5 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly
  16. Arrange peppers
  17. Cut side up
  18. In 13x9-inch baking dish
  19. Divide chili mixture evenly among peppers
  20. Top with cheese
  21. Broil 6 inches from heat 1 minute or until cheese is melted
  22. Serve immediately
