  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In medium saucepan
  3. Simmer chili until heated through
  4. Cook macaroni according to package directions
  5. Drain well and set aside
  6. Grease a deep 8-quart or similar casserole dish
  7. Spoon 1 cup of chili evenly on bottom of dish
  8. Next
  9. Layer half of the macaroni
  10. Drizzle half of the ketchup
  11. Half of the remaining chili and half of the cheeses
  12. Repeat layering with remaining macaroni
  13. 1 / 4 cup ketchup
  14. Remainder of chili and remaining cheeses
  15. Top with jalapeno slices
  16. If desired
  17. Cover and bake 30 minutes
  18. Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is bubbly
  19. Can green chilies
  20. Cayenne pepper or whatever i have on hand to "doctor" it up
