  1. In a large pot brown the ground beef with onion and green bell pepper until no longer pink
  2. Drain all fat
  3. Add in garlic
  4. Oregano and chili flakes
  5. Cook stirring until browned
  6. Add in chili powder and cumin
  7. Cook stirring for 2 minutes
  8. Add in stewed tomatoes
  9. Tomato sauce and seasoned salt
  10. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring
  11. Reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for 1-1 / 2 hours stirring occasionally
  12. Stir in the beans with their liquid and continue to cook for another 30 minutes
