Steps

  2. Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade in a small bowl
  3. Soak your choice of meat in the marinade for at least 2 hours
  4. If you are using the sirloin
  5. Let it marinate overnight
  6. If possible

  8. When the meat has marinated
  9. Preheat your barbecue or stove top grill to high
  10. 3
  11. Preheat a skillet over medium / high heat
  12. Saute the onion slices in the oil for 5 minutes
  13. Combine the soy sauce
  14. Water
  15. And lime juice in a small bowl and pour it over the onions
  16. Add the black pepper and continue to saute untill the onions are tanslucent and dark on the edges
  17. Salt to taste

  19. While the onions are sauteing
  20. Grill the meat for 4 to 5 minutes per side until done

  22. While the meat and onions are cooking
  23. Heat up another skillet over high heat
  24. This will be your sizzle serving pan
  25. 6
  26. When the meat is done remove it from the grill and slice it into this strips
  27. 7
  28. Remove the extra pan from the heat and dump the onions and any liquid into it
  29. "if youve made it hot enought the onions should sizzle"
  30. Add the meat to the pan and serve immediately with pico de gallo
  31. Ceddar cheese
  32. Sour cream and sour cream arranged on a seperate plate on a bed of shredded lettuce
  33. Steam the tortillas in a moist towel in the microwave for 30 seconds and serve on the side
  34. Serve salso also
  35. If desired
  36. "tidbits: at chilis
  37. Bell peppers are optional with the dish"
  38. If you like peppers
  39. Combine a small slice of green or red bell pepper with the onion
  40. And saute the vegetables together
  41. Follow the rest of steps as described
