  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray
  3. In a small skillet
  4. Heat oil overm medium heat
  5. Add onion and cook 3 to 5 minutes
  6. Or until softened
  7. Stirring occasionally
  8. Transfer onions to a medium bowl and add kidney beans and chili powder
  9. Mix well
  10. Transfer to the baking pan
  11. Arrange chicken pieces on top of bean mixture
  12. Pressing chicken into beans
  13. Spoon tomatoes over chicken and beans and add reserved tomato juice
  14. Bake about 65 minutes
  15. Remove from oven
  16. Sprinkle with cheese
  17. And bake 10 more minutes
  18. Or until cheese is melted and chicken is no longer pink inside
