Steps

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wide deep skillet or dutch oven
  2. Add onion
  3. And cook over medium-high heat for 5 mins until onion is translucent
  4. Add ground beef and
  5. Using a large spoon or fork to break up
  6. Cook until the meat is browned
  7. Add next 5 ingredients
  8. Rinsing out each can with a few tablespoons of water and adding the water to the pot
  9. Cook for 15-20 minutes to let the flavors blend
  10. Salt to taste
  11. As the chili simmers
  12. Bring a large pot of water to boil and salt the water
  13. When the water boils
  14. Add the frozen ravioli
  15. And when the water returns to a boil
  16. Lower heat to simmer
  17. Cook 4 or 5 mins until ravioli is cooked through
  18. Place in serving bowls with chili over the top
  19. Sprinkled with grated cheese
