  1. Drain cherries
  2. Set aside
  3. Mix together brown sugar
  4. Nuts
  5. And cinnamon
  6. Set aside
  7. Sift together flour
  8. Salt
  9. Baking powder
  10. And baking soda
  11. Set aside
  12. Cream butter
  13. Sugar
  14. And almond extract thoroughly
  15. Add sour cream
  16. Beat until well blended
  17. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture
  18. Alternating with the eggs
  19. Beginning and ending with the flour mixture
  20. Beat well
  21. Scraping bowl often
  22. Grease and flour a bundt pan
  23. Pour 1 / 3 of the batter in the pan
  24. Top with 1 / 3 of the cherries and 1 / 3 of the nut mixture
  25. Repeat layers a second and third time
  26. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done
