  1. Place salmon in a shallow dish
  2. And rub with 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  3. Season the non-skin side with lemon pepper
  4. Parsley
  5. Thyme
  6. Set aside
  7. In a sauce pan heat 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat
  8. And saute shallot for 2 minutes until tender
  9. Mix in remaining 2 tbsp lemon juice
  10. Vinegar
  11. And 1 / 4 cup wine
  12. Simmer until reduced by at least 1 / 2
  13. Stir in half & half
  14. Season sauce with salt
  15. And white pepper to taste
  16. Cook and stir until thickened
  17. Whisk in 4 tbsp butter
  18. Set aside and keep warm
  19. Heat remaining 4 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat
  20. Place salmon in the skillet herb side down
  21. And cook 1 to 2 minutes
  22. Until seared
  23. Remove salmon and set aside herb side up
  24. Deglaze the skillet with remaining 1 tablespoon wine
  25. Then mix in the cream sauce
  26. Return salmon to the skillet herb side up
  27. And cook 8 minutes in the sauce
  28. Or until easily flaked with a fork
  29. Serve salmon on plate with sauce
  30. Paired with steamed asparagus spears and mashed red potatoes
