  1. Into each of six sterile pint mason jars
  2. Put 1 sliced garlic clove and 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  3. Pack beans vertically into jar
  4. Adding 1 to 2 chilies
  5. And

  8. In a nonreactive saucepan
  9. Bring vinegar
  10. Water and salt to a boil
  11. Pour hot liquid over beans
  12. Covering them completely
  13. Close jars and refrigerate at least one month before eating
  14. Keep refrigerated
