  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and sugar
  2. Let rise
  3. Scald milk and allow to cool
  4. In a large bowl
  5. Combine milk
  6. Butter
  7. Yeast and salt
  8. Beat in enough flour to make a stiff batter
  9. Add more flour to make a smooth soft dough
  10. Knead well
  11. Cover and let rise until dough doubles in bulk
  12. Form buns the size of a large walnut
  13. Place a smaller bun on top of a larger one
  14. And press down firmly with one finger so that the two stick together
  15. Place on a greased pan
  16. Let rise until doubled in bulk
  17. Bake in 350 f oven for about 15-20 minutes
