i found these at the mr. food site. my friends says they really are called get up and go bars because with all the fiber, you really will have to get up and run! especially if you have one of these bars with your first morning cup of coffee!
i accidently royally messed up the recipe to a marinade i had and had to fix it... and it turned out even better! you can obviously put any vegetables you like on the skewers, these are just my preference. prep time is time to marinade.
my family loves pasta and we also love seafood so i came up with this for a meat-less dinner during lent. it kind of tastes like a high end seafood lasagne, but is a whole lot easier (and cheaper!). we love it and hope that you do too. i use the imitat
this is a corruption of another salad that has 4 varieties of beans in it. when i don't want to make enough for a crowd, i use this version. it's pretty healthy and is full of good carbs (especially if you skip the corn).
