this is a very nice savoury breakfast muffin. great for picnics or potlucks or really any time. it is moist, flavourful and very healthy too. using toasted sesame adds some more flavour to it.
this recipe was obtained from penzey's "one" magazine. it is very moist and flavorful. a cross between quick bread and cake. easy one bowl preparation for a fast, delicious snack. i've modified it some on instructions, pans, etc. enjoy!!!
this is so easy yet makes impressive an impressive main dish (especially for brunch). as it bakes, the gruyère melts into the nutmeg-scented egg and milk mixture, and takes on a light, quiche-like creaminess. from gourmet magazine (dec. 2008).
these are served like potato cakes, but are made with dried green peas. the recipe says their good served with homemade tomato sauce, or alongside the 'full english' cooked breakfast. i think they'd also be good with fish and chips, or steak and chips.
