  1. Wash and trim ends from zucchini
  2. Cook whole zucchini in boiling salted water until tender
  3. About 10 minutes
  4. Brush with melted butter and place in a baking dish in one layer
  5. Blend salt and pepper into sour cream and spread over zucchini
  6. Sprinkle over with cheese
  7. Broil just until cheese melts and begins to brown
  8. Serve immediately
