Steps

  1. Combine the beef
  2. Milk
  3. Bread crumbs
  4. Onion
  5. 1 teaspoons of salt
  6. And the pepper
  7. Mix thoroughly then shape into 16 balls
  8. Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a skillet then brown the meat balls well on all sides
  9. Remove the meat balls from the pan and add the remaining butter
  10. Blend in the flour
  11. Sugar
  12. And the other 1 / 2 teaspoons of salt
  13. Add the buttermilk and mustard and cook
  14. Stirring constantly until thickened
  15. Reduce the heat and return the meat balls to the sauce
  16. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes
