here's a tasty treat! make with your own homemade raspberry perserves.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Lightly grease an 9 inch square baking pan
  3. In a large bowl beat together butter and brown sugar until creamy
  4. Beat in the egg
  5. Mix throughly
  6. Beat in the vanilla
  7. Mix thoroughly
  8. Beat in the flour and salt until well combined
  9. Press mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes
  10. Remove from the oven and while still hot spread with the raspberry jam
  11. Sprinkle with coconut
  12. Cool completely and cut into squares
