  1. Rub the spices on all sides of the meat and brown
  2. You may add oil
  3. If necessary
  4. Add onions
  5. Brown sugar
  6. Bay leaves
  7. Vinegar
  8. Add water to cover the meat
  9. Place veggies on top
  10. Cook overnight on low in the crockpot
