  1. Cut melon in half and scoop out seeds
  2. Scoop out melon with melon baller
  3. Or you can cut into small bite-sized cubes
  4. Place in a serving bowl
  5. At this point you have a choice
  6. You can marinate the melon in a little rum for an hour or more
  7. Or you can just continue
  8. If you marinated them
  9. Pour off any extra rum
  10. Now
  11. Place raspberries in sieve over small bowl
  12. And force berries thru sieve to remove seeds
  13. Add sugar and lemon juice to seived raspberry puree
  14. Pour raspberry puree over melon and chill for several hours
  15. Serve from bowl
  16. Or serve in individual dessert dishes
  17. You can even serve this with a little ice cream or whipped cream
  18. "but its just fine on its own"
