  2. Syrup
  3. Butter and cream in a heavy saucepan
  4. Cook over low heat
  5. Stirring occasionally
  6. Until mixture forms a firm ball
  7. About 250 degrees on a candy thermometer
  8. Add nuts and pour into small fluted waxed paper candy cups or onto well-buttered cookie sheet
  9. If poured on a cookie sheet
  10. Allow to set before cutting into small squares with oiled scissors
  11. Wrap in waxed paper
